The Independent Study and Mentorship Program is a program offered in Frisco ISD designed for high school students to research their career of choice with the guidance of a mentor regarding that career.

With their mentor, students are able to advance their understanding of their field through interviews, observations, and shadowing. In addition to learning about their career path, students are put into the professional world, thus learning critical professional skills including interviewing, public speaking, leadership, and networking. Throughout the school year, students will work their mentors to create an Original Work and a Final Presentation for display, constructing their utmost passion into their own pieces of work.
